Before the Day...
Once you have called us and booked a date for your shoot you may want to have a think about whether there is any particular style of photo you have seen on the website that you would like to re-create or whether you are happy to leave it to our artistic vision!
You may want to think about where you would like to be photographed, there are usually more than enough backgrounds at and around your horse's yard and they will often be more relaxed there but if you have a favourite place and you would like us to meet you there thats fine too. We can also arrange beach shoots please contact us for more information.
You should also think about outfits, these can dictate the whole style of your photographs. We can take wonderful photos of you dressed in your prom or wedding dress and these make really unusual and eyecatching prints. We would generally suggest one classic outfit such as jeans and a white t-shirt or vest top as this always looks good and will never date, one really special dress such as a prom, wedding or bridesmaid dress and then one or two outfits that you just love (we usually do 3 outfit changes during a shoot but its a good idea to have a few options and we can help you choose on the day)
Don't forget you can book the Winged Horse Photography make up artist to attend your shoot for only £20 and make your day even more special!
On the Day...
Make sure your horse is looking his or her best with a good groom or bath also make sure your tack is clean and smart - a dirty numnah will spoil your whole look! Also its a good idea to make sure your horse has been fed - hungry horses will be far too interested in the nearest patch of grass to smile nicely for the camera! Once these things are taken care of and you have your outfits sorted leave the rest to us, we will make sure you both feel like the stars that you are!
